Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Seth J. Hon comes from a large Christian family. As a pastor’s son, he grew up with a love for family and the ministry. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.

As a young person, he had a desire to go into business and support the ministry financially. However, In August of 1999, he accepted the call to full-time Christian service. From that time forward his life took a different emphasis. He began taking Bible College courses and for the next several years served in many different ministries: bus director, soul winning director, new Christians discipleship class, missions director, taking several trips to the Philippines, and eventually becoming the assistant pastor of his home church, Lighthouse Baptist Church. It was during this time that he met and married his wife Hannah.

He became the assistant pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Terre Haute, Indiana, in January of 2008. However, in the fall of 2009, he felt the call of the Lord to go into the pastorate. In March of 2010, he accepted the call of Charity Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he served for six years. On February 14, 2016, after much prayer he accepted the call to pastor Grace Baptist Church here in Columbus, Georgia.

Pastor Hon has a strong burden for seeing people come to know Christ and growing through discipleship in the local New Testament Church. Pastor Hon is a strong Bible preacher who loves the church and people. If you are new to Grace, you’ll find pastor in the auditorium or foyer before and after each service as he greets everyone on their way in or out.
